Use our Submission Management System to submit and manage your contribution to the 100th Glass-Technology Conference, taking place on 25–26 May 2027 in Bremerhaven, Germany.

Abstract submissions are invited for Sessions 2–8 for presentation as a lecture or poster.
Session 1, A Century of Glass Science and Technology – From Foundations to the Next Era, is a specially curated Anniversary Focus and is open to invited contributions only.

Abstract Submission Deadline: 11 December 2026

You can edit your submission at any time until final submission. After acceptance, accompanying documents such as your one-page PDF abstract can be uploaded via the Submission Management System. The final upload deadline for these documents is 11 June 2027.

The conference will take place exclusively on-site in Bremerhaven. Presenters are expected to attend and present their contribution in person. A regular conference ticket is required for all presenters.

All abstracts, documents and presentations must be prepared in English. Please prepare a one-page abstract, including a maximum of one figure or image, using our provided template. The one-page abstract will be included in the digital abstract compendium.

Submission Guidelines

General Conditions

• Each person may submit a maximum of one lecture and one poster contribution. The submitter and presenter must be the same person.
• Abstract submissions are accepted for Sessions 2–8.
• The conference will take place exclusively on-site in Bremerhaven.
• If a lecture or poster is accepted, the contribution must be presented in person.
• A regular conference ticket is required for all presenters.
• All abstracts, documents and presentations must be prepared in English.

Lecture Presentation

• Presentations can be prepared in PowerPoint or PDF, preferably in 16:9 format.
• The presentation language is English.
• Each regular lecture has a 20-minute time slot, including Q&A.
• Please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive and provide it to the technician in your presentation room before your session. Personal equipment cannot be used for presentations.

Poster Presentation

• Posters should be prepared in portrait orientation, DIN A0.
• Please bring a printed version of your poster to the conference.
• Presenters are expected to be available at their posters during the Poster Session to discuss their work with participants.
• Further organisational details, including poster mounting times, will be provided at a later stage.
