The 99th Glass-Technology Conference, held from 2 to 3 June 2026 at the Congress Centrum Würzburg, brought together the glass community for two focused days of scientific exchange, practical insights, and valuable networking.

The programme covered key developments across glass science and technology — from sustainable production, recycling, and furnace technologies to modelling, AI, glass properties, and advanced forming and processing. Highlights included the Student Evening, the ISC Tour, the poster session, the exhibition area, and the Conference Banquet Dinner with Poster Awards.
